Testimonials
Time Management Guru :
Infobrella was very easy to use, and it made me extremely productive, which is why I also started using it for all aspects of my life. In addition to helping me prepare speeches, make presentations and design training classes, it helps me with my personal obligations. So now I have easy-to-understand snapshots of what I need to accomplish in my whole day.
Business Coach :
I started using Infobrella to capture my brainstorming ideas, because I had a lot of things to do for my projects and I needed a good place to list and organize them. When my brainstorming was complete, Infobrella helped me categorize these thoughts. Then I could see everything I needed to accomplish, in one display. I also could focus on specific things by quickly re-organizing my information to view only the category and tasks immediately at hand. Another good thing is that I often recommend better time management to my clients, and Infobrella is now a tried and true solution I can suggest to them.
Freelance Marketer :
I feel reassured with Infobrella because I know:
- I will not forget anything
- I know where I can access my information
- I can see what I have accomplished
Project Manager :
I naturally like to organize things. But sometimes I'll remember saving something really important, and then for the life of me, I won't remember where I put it. The worst part is that I'll waste a lot of time trying to find my information, and eventually I'll give up and recreate it. That's where Infobrella is so good. I put all my information into it - files, URLs, due dates, notes, etc., I connect related information, and everything is available on one screen. So it's easy to organize and re-organize, prioritize and re-prioritize. These are my favorite things about Infobrella:
- Emotional ease
- Simplified planning
- Clear awareness of priorities
- Keeps me organized
- Time saver since I don't need to go to many programs or files to access my information
- I have it all in one program - in fact in one display!
Sales Manager :
I would use Infobrella for my employees because of the same reasons that I use it myself: Being organized leads to greater efficiency and effectiveness, which yields greater productivity and profits. This also reduces the level of internal stress. Being at ease comes across positively to customers. I also find that when people are relaxed they are able to focus better, achieve more and enjoy their work. I know many very talented people and they are often not good at organizing themselves - it simply isn't their greatest strength. The simplicity of this program compensates for this.
Mind Development Trainer & Coach :
I have seen and used other programs such as Mind Manager but I find them more complex. This tool is simple to use whether or not you have technical skills or computer savvy. Everyone on the planet can benefit from this simple tool that creates ease and order in their minds and in their work. It makes this tool invaluable.
Publicist :
Part of event development is keeping up-to-date lists. We have lists of suppliers such as caterers, lists of targeted and interested speakers, lists of sundry other details, e.g., parking permits, security guards, agendas/timing, pending actions, etc. As structured as these lists are, the nature of business events is that things change so often. So our list format has to be structured AND flexible, which can be quite a paradox. Thus having a fixed format like databases imposes too much structure to be efficiently organized, yet a blank paper like a Microsoft Word document is too unstructured. The tree view that Infobrella provides is ideal. Much like Help Desk tools, e.g., www.helpandmanual.com, Infobrella lets my staff perform the critical actions of quick and easy file access. This means we can get in easily to add nodes of information, and we can get out quickly access the next set of data.
Event Planner :
I used to read about 100 trade rags a month on all kinds of subjects from pre-press graphics to C-level finance. I've tried almost every kind of tool out there, from Ask Sam, to structured databases, to creating my own systems. The ability to quickly file tidbits of information and then come back and re-arrange or re-group into meaningful collections is something Infobrella can do, and do well.
Web Developer :
This is a wildly evolving landscape - pod casting, wikis, open source tools, new languages like ruby. All of these things cannot be handled well by a traditional filing system. With Infobrella's flexible, easy to see tree (nodes on left column with detail on right side), it is a lot easier for me to capture random thoughts, articles, references to links/web sites, and then for me to be able to access these data points at a later time. For example, I've been keeping various notes on php based bulletin boards for almost a year before I needed that information to build out a custom version. Thank goodness for Infobrella. It allowed me to quickly put my fingers on relative info/notes/links.
Chief Executive Officer :
The biggest benefits of Infobrella are its ease of use and the ability to see the big picture quickly. Infobrella is like creating your own Microsoft Help Desk, where you can click on a word that brings up an overview screen - one side of the screen shows related links and the other side shows the current detail. However, the help desk products have traditionally high price points and steep learning curves. No other program really does what Infobrella does cheaply and efficiently. Furthermore, whereas the help desk products are built with the idea of a central librarian that publishes the help desk material to an intranet or extranet, Infobrella allows me to be my own central librarian without excessively burning my time or my wallet.
